Spring Snow 2016

For the past week forecasters were saying look out on the first day of spring. What started out being a good ol’ New England Nor’easter, turned out nothing more than a couple of inches for my area in Southern New England. Other areas further east got up to 8 inches but nothing really bad. This is a scene from Lake Lillinonah in Bridgewater Connecticut just as the sun was breaking out. What little snow we got didnt last long, as about an hour after this shot was taken all was melted and forgotten. Will this be the snow image of the season? Time will tell, the record for the latest snow in Connecticut is May 7,1977. So who knows what mother nature has up her sleeve.
